Youth Celebration of the Buddha's Birthday - Saturday, May 21, 2011

Phat Quang youth is planning a number of events to celebrate Buddha's birthday on Saturday, May 21, 2011 (09:30 am - 12:00 pm). The agenda is shown as below:

  • Lion dance to celebrate Budda's birthday  (9:40 A.M.)
  • The main ceremony (10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.)

           Introduction of the Phật Quang Youth group

           A small concert with songs dedicated to the Buddha's birthday celebration

Buddha's Birthday Celebration - Sunday, May 22, 2011

There will be a ceremony, held at the Phat Quang temple on Sunday, May 22 2011 (9:30am - 12:00pm) to celebrate Buddha's birthday. Please join us at the temple to celebrate this important annual event. Detailed agenda will be provided later.

Part of the activities will be used as a dry-run for the May 21 event. The session starts at 10:00 A.M.

Youth Retreat - Saturday, March 26, 2011 (Photo gallery)

A youth retreat will be held at the Phật Quang temple on Saturday, March 26, 2011. All attending Vietnamese Buddhist youth (from 6 years old) will have an opportunity to learn and have fun during the day.

Agenda:

  • 10:00 - 12:00: Fundamental Dharma learnings
  • 12:00 - 13:00: Lunch
  • 13:00 - 15:00: Fun activities
